    Mount Everest is the tallest point on Earth, standing at 8,848m / 29,028ft tall, standing 5 and 1/2 miles above sea level. Named after Sir George Everest, the British surveyor-general of India, Everest is known in Tibet as Chomolungma and the Nepalese call it Sagarmatha. Mount Everest is located half in Nepal and half in Tibet.

    Everest area features:

    – This high altitude region is very stressful for the body. Acclimatation is sometimes painful, lack of sleep, appetite and headaches.
    – It is very cold in the Everest region, thank you to plan your equipment accordingly.
    – In high season the area is frequented on. There are many people and accommodation and meals may be abstract in spite of very high tariffs.
    – There are a lot of dust (provide eye drops for eyes and a rehydrating the nose and throat). Some people put masks. Plan a scarf.
    – Flights from Lukla are subject to weather conditions. Thank you for allowing sufficient time to return because it happens that the airport is closed for several days straight (5 days) because of bad weather.

    Itinerary :

    • 1 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel
    • 2 Kathmandu.
    • 3 Kathmandu
    • 4 Transfer to the airport, fly to Lukla (2800m) and trek to Phakding (2640m). Overnight in lodge.
    • 5 Namche Bazaar (3446m). Overnight in lodge.
    • 6 Trek to Khumjung (3790m). Overnight in lodge. Visit the Hillary School and the Yeti Scalp in the local Gompa with Dunje Festival every year in June.
    • 7 Stay at Khumjung for acclimatization. Visit to Gonglha for a panoramic view of Mt. Kongde, Parchamo, Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Thamserku and the villages of Thame valley and Kunde.
    • 8 Tengboche Monastery (3867m) with its famous Mani Rimdu Festival. Overnight in tented camp.
    • 9 Dingboche. Overnight in tented camp.
    • 10 Lobuche (4900m). Overnight in lodge.
    • 11 Rest day in Lobuche
    • 12 Everest Base Camp.
    • 13-57 Climbing Period Mt. Everest.
    • 58 Cleaning up Base Camp.
    • 59 Trek to Pheriche. Overnight in lodge.
    • 60 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight in lodge.
    • 61 Trek to Phakding. Overnight in lodge.
    • 62 Trek to Lukla. Overnight in lodge.
    • 63 Fly to Kathmandu. Transfer your hotel.
    • 64 Kathmandu, free day.
    • 65 Transfer to the airport and departure from Kathmandu.

    Prices include :

    – Hotel 4 nights with small breakfast in Kathmandu, Hotel 3 stars Marshyandi Mandala in Thamel in a tourist area.
    – Kathmandu, visit Valley and the three sites classified UNESCO heritage: Bhaktapur, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath by car / by tourist bus with francophone Nepalese cultural guide.
